My new doberman puppy will not stop messing in her cage. Even if I have just let her do her business and then put her in there she will mess and just lay in it. I didnt think dogs were supposed to mess where they sleep??!!
The puppy is three months old and we have had her for about 3 weeks. Her schedule is pretty staight forward. I take her out every half hour or so; right before bed and first thing in the morning. I dont let her eat after 6pm. My other puppy wasnt this hard and he didnt mess in his cage quite like she does. The problem is more that if she needs to go there isnt any warning and she doesnt whine to go out.
we'll teach her to whine if she needs to go out. Have her go to the door and you say, do you need to go potty, then let her outside let her do her bussiness and then continue to do tis and she should start to get the picture. Also if she goes in her cage get mad at her and be stern don't go and pet her and love on her, then she automatically thinks it is ok for her to pee whereever.
PUPPIES AND DOGS THEY HAVE TO USE THE BATHROOM BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP AND WHEN THEY WAKE UP ALSO THEY WILL NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM RIGHT AFTER THEY FINISH PLAYING AND WHEN THEY FINISH EATING SO WHAT I THINK YOU SHOULD DO IS AFTER THEY DO ALL THIS YOU TAKE YOUR PUPPY OUT TO USE THE BATHROOM IT WORKED FOR MY PUPPY AND HAS BEEN WORKING MY DOG IS KNOW 2 YEARS OLD AND SHE HAS NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT IN THE HOUSE I REALLY THINK U SHOULD GIVE IT A TRY AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT WELL GOOD LUCK WITH THE POOTY TRAINING.
