Thinking of changing againg with the recall of the NB, even though we use duck and potato. It's really scarey. I would cook, but with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 3 kids and a husband, and working full time. Enough said. Does anybody use eagle pack holistic or have any suggestions.
Yes, I actually use Eagle Pack Holistic and would def. recommend it! All of Eagle Pack dry foods are made in their own plants and they don't use wheat gluten. It's not even present in their plant facility. All of their ingredients originate from the US with the exception of their duck meal which comes from Germany, lamb meal which comes from New Zealand/Australia and the Fish meal from Argintina. If it wasn't Eagle Pack for me, I'd swich to Natura products....

I highly, repeat, HIGHLY recommend their food. They produce it locally to where we live and my husband was directly involved with the main heads of company there. He was sent to many dog food conventions with full accomodations via Eagle Pack. He talked to numerous representatives of this company and we truly believe that they are more concerned with producing a whole foods well rounded dog food than with profit. Our puppy eats the hollistic chicken formula. I never have to worry about my dog getting ill from their food because it is, like I said, local and they are a very caring and responsible group of people. On the down side it may be a bit more pricey, but I would expect to pay more for a good quality food source. We pay more for organic food for our family as well. It will be well worth the cost overall.
Puggles are like M&Ms. You never know which color you're going to end up with.
My new kitten's breeder sent me home with several foods, including a bag of Eagle Pack Holistic Dry food and some canned. I haven't used the dry yet but have fed one can, and it looks to be a good food. You can actually see chunks of carrots, potatos and peas in there
Thanks for the replies, after some research and your info, I think I am going to make the switch to Eagle Pack holistic. I have to order food, cause we live in a small town with no good stores to buy dog food here except wal-mart and grocery stores. I stock up when we go out of town.
I highly recommend Eagle Pack as well. We feed the holistic Large/Giant breed puppy formula. The dog's coats are wonderful and Dakota's (Rottie/Shepherd mix)hips don't seem to bother her as much.
We were feeding Dakota Pedigree about 1-1/2 years ago. She was having seizures every 3-4months and had to be put on medication. We switched to Eagle Pack and she hasn't had a seizure since and she is off of her medication.
I love Eagle Pack.. It has done wonders for my pups.
