I've only been to Sea World in California, but I've been like 10 times so I will tell you a couple tips that i learned over the years. Go to the BIG attraction shows first in the morning, there are less people. Try not to schedule everything tho, I found it more fun to just wander around, and go to whatever I found interesting. Otherwise your always rushing from exhibit to the next and it gets frustrating. The sea lion/walrus shows are awesome and pretty funny, Shamu and the dolphins are the show to see in the morning if you can. And if you can afford it, I highly recommend swimming with the dolphins, it was such an AMAZING experience! Don't rush through the park, just take your time and arrive early. Its a whole lotta fun!
At aquariums around the country, orcas leap through the air for a handful of fish and are ridden by human performers as if they were water skis. Tourists flock to facilities that offer them the opportunity to swim or have their pictures taken with dolphins. These parks and zoos are part of a billion-dollar business built on the suffering of intelligent, social beings who are denied all their natural behaviors and needs. Ric O’Barry, who was a dolphin trainer for the Flipper television series in the 1960s, says that parks and zoos “want you to think that God put dolphins there or that they rescued them. … If people knew the truth, they wouldn’t buy a ticket.”
Oh Seaworld! When I lived in Florida that was our second home. =)
Hmm... the one in San Antonio.. well it depends on what you like. If your into the big rides they have the steal eal which is like a huge roller coaster that pretty much has a bunch of big drops and then there is another one that does all of the flips and turns and stuff called... the great white? (not sure about that one) They have one of those river-type rides where you sit in a circular raft type thing with about 7 other people and ride on a river to get wet from the splashing water and miniature waterfalls. They have a really cool dolphin show. It's one of my favorites. The clyde and seamor(sp?) is lots of fun too. And, of course, you have to see Shamu. ;-) Well, I hope that helps somewhat. =) Have fun!

Killer whales, or orcas, are members of the dolphin family. They are also the largest animals held in captivity. In the wild, orcas stay with their mothers for life. Family groups, or “pods,” consist of a mother, her adult sons and daughters, and her daughters’ offspring. Members of the pod communicate in a “dialect” specific to that pod. Dolphins swim together in family pods or tribes of hundreds.
yeah, my parents were looking at the hotels we could stay at on the internet, n half of the hotels were nere those tracks but i didnt know they were hauted...got any details, im out of school n i need a god scare, since i will barely get any for 2 12 months......
They are at Shane and Villiariel (sp). It's in a bad part of town. If you go at night cars are lined up to do it, but in the day you can do it over and over with out waiting. When we went we cleaned off the back of the car, then put baby powder on it. you can see finger prints. Don't start close to the tracks, if you are about 50 feet back you will go faster. My mom says it down hill, but she has never been to them. you are going up hill. I will see if I can find a website for you.
They are right at the San Juan Mission. also don't stand on the tracks, as it is said they will break you front window. We didn't know this, and took a picture standing on the tracks. The next day when we went drive home, there was a crack in the window.
to tell the truth, i dont believe in ghosts or any of that stuff. i dont have a reason too, my friend once told me a ghost lives in her basement, n she said u could hear it, n i didnt hear any thing so i justthink shes joking, and my other friend says her uncle killed a woman in the front of thire house and now that womans ghosts lengers the house, but that friend lies all the time. and a few weeks ago, i thought my room was haunted cuz i kept hearing noises, and my dog used to stare at things. n my dad told me u have to invite ghostst into your home, but i do belive in spirits but not ghosts. i now its complicated anit it?

well i have had some experiances. most of the time it has been my grandmother who passed away when I was 11. She came to me in a dream and told me my grandfather was going to pass away. It happen one week later, just like she said it would.
Seaworld is nothing but a chlorinated prison! How could you go there and feed into the missery of those poor animals!?! They tear families apart. Those poor creatures must adapt to an alien world. Their captive "life" has horrible consequences. The government does nothing to protect these animals! Removal of these majestic mammals from the wild for commercial purposes is obscene. These horrendous captures absolutely must become a thing of the past. Dolphins, orcas, seals, and other marine mammals do not belong in captivity. Unless you are going to Seaworld to monitor the animals as part of a campaign, please do not go!
When I was younger we would go to sea world at least once a year... a great experience over all. Also look into discovery cove (they run specials during the summer) family members of mine went and said it was the best experience they have ever had (all the behind the scenes including swimming with the dolphins, great for my sis because she plans to be a marine biologist)
As for Britt, if you hold a discussion like a human instead of a PETA website guide, we could sympathize with your side... Mostly you turn people off to any ideas that you feel are important; by simply pasting from another site. Also, I understand you have a lot of emotion towards this subject but it would help to post facts versus simply emotional opinion, this advice will help as you grow towards a proffessional career.
