That is good news. In MI, each county inspects it's own kennels, but like I have a lot of dogs in my house and I don't need a kennel license at all. I can't get a kennel license, because the rules in my particular county say that kennels must be outside the home. My dogs are in the house and that is not going to change. AKC comes once a year, but that is it.

A shelter near me got "dozens" of the dogs from the Nebraska bust. Most that I have seen posted on their website have been shaved down poms, so I'm assuming they were matted up messes. The average stay on the adoption floor at this particular shelter is less than 3 days, so things are looking up for these pups.
