My dog had a bad reaction to her food, and the food was science diet sensitive stomach. The dog food gave her bloody diarrhea and vomiting. So I brought her to the vet this morning and they say it was her food, and they gave her some new food I was wondering if anyone heard of it. It is called hill's d/d venison & potato. And they put her on medicine for the diarrhea, and now she seems like she is doing better. So tell me is anyone heard of this food because she was on the canned i/d but they out her on this new food. So I was wondering if anyone has heard of this food. Let me know what you think.
I'm sure you know about the food recall. But, even aside from that, I would not feed her Science Diet period. Right now with things up in the air like they are over the food, I would feed her an holistic food. I have mine on Eagle Pack, which they have not been too thrilled with, so I bought them some Canidae yesterday to try. Good luck!!
Allergies can show up as sensitive stomaches, vomiting. Wh? because the dog can't handle the corn and or wheat in the kibble. Don't get sucked up and let your vet get you thinking Hill's,(science diet) is an all cure. My friend went thru 7 years of hell, massive ear infections, ear canal reconstrution on her cocker spaniel. Most of that 7 years her dog was on Hills prescription diet. Spent alot of time on anti-biotics. Guess what after thousands of dollars spent at the vets, she finally listened to me and a friend. This past month has been the first time in many years her cocker is not on meds, She has been eating Natural Balance, duck and Potatoe for a few months now, and has been the healthiest and happiest than she has ever been in her life. Why, No corn or wheat. Don't get sucked in. We all learn from each other here and online. You will hear the same advice in most groups.
Whoever said you can't buy happiness, must have never owned a dog!!!!!!!!!!!
