any ideas of what my doggy is?
We adopted this adorable puppy when he was 10 weeks old and 21 lbs.(last Nov) from our local humane society and are curious what breeds he might have in him.

He seems to have the facial markings of a beagle. he's white with tan/blonde spots on his body and face. he is 9 months old and weighs almost 70 lbs. he is incredibly strong. he is obsessed with chasing birds/bugs/leaves/the wind/anything he sees moving. he does play well with other dogs (especially little ones) and gets along with our cats fairly well. he is extremely affectionate with anyone he knows and wants to be with people as opposed to being alone. he doesn't seem to bark like most dogs, it's more like a deep howl (hound, perhaps?). Wow, I'm stumped. Shes got the coloring of a bulldog...but I don't think thats it....I'll do some research and see what I can find out, lol.

The face is different, but the coloring is the same. I think he might be an American BulldogX, or some kind of BeagleXlargebreed, lol.

Do you have any pics of a whole body shot of him? It's kinda hard to tell when they're laying down. LOL.

to me, ryno has a very large bone structure - when he sits on his butt his hip bones just kinda flop open...that might sound dumb, i'm not sure how else to describe it. he's got long, muscular legs (front and back) and his tail is long and turns up, like a huskie w/out the long fur. his coat is thick and soft and he has lots of extra skin around his neck - his skin hangs over his collar almost like a turtleneck. it's rather cute.

They both look like pointer mixes to me.

After looking through the breeds, I think he has a strong resemblance to an American Foxhound. (this is the white dog I'm talking about).
