I don't know if it's legit, but I will tell you this much. I own a time share at a cabin type resort right near where this thing has been sighted... and I haven't been to those suckers in a very long time. :D
There have been lots of people from around the country in Upper Michigan the past few weeks. According to articles on the news and in the papers, they are chasing the ever elusive Bigfoot. Imagine that, another money making scheme to attract tourists to the Great North.
To be fair, the search for Bigfoot that is going on now is not a tourist attraction. It may lead to one, but it in itself is not one. Scientists are trying to prove/disprove, since no one else has been able to. At all. There have only been a handful of actual searches made in the US and Canada.
The first link looks like a man in a bear outfit, maybe even bear skin with the fur. You can spot a bear coat a mile away, they have distinct fur. And that is clearly bear fur (and paws, and claws). And notice how the head is intricately placed out of view of the camera...so you cannot see bear ears, perhaps? ;) I don't know about the rest of you, but if I saw Bigfoot, I'd be struggling to get better pictures, not sitting there with my camera phone taking pictures of it's back and not even attempting to get a better shot.
I express myself through body modification and loud opinions. Please step aside.
It looks quite odd to me. I'm not sure what it is...but I don't think it is bigfoot. My first impression of the last pick was some sort of long clawed bear. I do see how it could be a person with a fur. Although I don't know what kind of fur it would be made from. Wolf? Seems too big. Bear? Never seen a bear that color. It definately doesn't look dyed, but could always been faux.
Cryptozoology has always been a fascination of mine. There are just too many photos and sightings to dismiss all crypto myths.
