Hello every one I know I haven't been on in a long time. But I've been having a hard time lately knowing my dad is trying to get rid of Hershey our chocolate lab. But the funny thing is this lady keeps calling about him. But she doesn't keep up with it and my dad hasn't been calling her back so I don't think hes trying very hard to get rid of him. But i'm not complaining. Its been a little over a month now. Hopefully he'll just decide not to get rid of him. So how is every one else on here. I hope all of your babies are doing well.
The wonderful thing about daschunds is they are your long time friends and when it comes to giving love they never fall short.
That's sad that your dad doesn't want to keep your Chlt Labby. Has he tried calling a Labrador Rescue (or tried to locate one ?) He could always call them and see if any one in on their list, for a Chlt Lab. It's worth a try . Hope he does change his mind, but if not, I hope the poor Chlt fella finds a loving forever home. Oh,and this may have already been said. I don't know since I just joined a few days ago, but also be sure to really screen potential homes(application , vet references, home check, etc). I'm trying to find a Black Lab female a home(I'm helping her current owner) she is unspayed(for now) but will be before being adopted out. However, I'm getting a few who are asking if she could be bred or "sold not fixed". I don't know if your Chlt is "Fixed" or not, but "Free" or "small fee" unaltered Labs, are very easy takers for serious BYB'rs or Millers. I read an artical that Millers(and ByB'rs) do and will bring in their family so they look "normal" & fool you. Then, it's down hill for the dog. All and all, just be very careful and observant - Good Luck !
