I am looking at hair styles to consider for my wedding and I am considering something like the photos below. Before I spend the money on a trail run do you think this type of style will look good on me? Or should I look at something higher on the head you think? Opinions and pictures of what you think would look nice appreciated.
I like the first one myself. I love the messy updos and think they look very pretty. The others look to tight to the head and not flowing or romantic, But im sure you will look great in what ever you choose to do. Theresa
I thought I was going to read something about what should I do for my dogs hair for my wedding. man I was really looking forward to helping you out with that. lol Dear I think anything would look great. but liked the first one too.
I agree with Tappety, I like the more loose, flowing styles.
But when I got married, I didn't have an updo. My hair was partially back, curled, with a few curled wisps by my face. I keep my hair up all the time because of work and it meant a lot to me to wear it down for the occasion. So it is OK to think outside the box too! I only say this because you look very pretty in your picture with curls framing your face.
I agree with Pope, and you are such a classic beauty (if that's you in the picture) you would look gorgeous in an understated elegant do, maybe a slighly more contemporary Grace Kelly look. I don't know, but that's how I picture you. I'm sure whatever you choose will be absolutely beautiful.
"bippy798" - I have dial-up service so I don't "do" pix (because they take so long to download), so I'm in no position to "judge" but I would like to offer you some advice.
Oh! - first & foremost, though, I want to offer you my sincerest best wishes on your very special day!
Now, as to "wedding hair", I would just caution you not to get too elaborate or creative. The last thing you want is to start walking down the aisle & see a look on your sweetie's face clearly reflecting "who the heck it THAT?" He loves you 24/7 now so go easy on the guy, right? You might want to "audition" the styles for him (on the sly), & if he says, "wow, you really look cute today" - go for it! If he doesn't say ANYthing & just keeps glancing at you funny, I think I'd tend to nix that "do". Also, it would be nice to keep it fairly simple so on those special occasions, like your 38th anniversary (like we just enjoyed!), you can just whip up the same hairstyle! I figure it's safe to assume that's a photo of you in your Avatar & if that's the case, you're a gorgeous little gal to begin with & in a wedding dress you'll be his dream come true & will surely knock his socks off - IF he can recognize you in your "wedding hair".
Wow thank you everyone. You all have me blushing heheh! I will have a veil but it is going to be underneath my hair. I am really starting to lean now to the first picture and was thinking I could get silver wire to wrap around similar to how she has the ribbon in her hair. I thought it would help support the hair since my hair is rather heavy and thick. I have an awesome hair person who has been doing my hair for years and has never failed me yet and always done exactly what I picture in my head with my hair. I have a Tiara but I will have to see how it looks with my test run to see if I want to wear it or not. I didn't pay a lot for it so no big loss if I dont use it.
I really like the romantic styles also and I am tired of every wedding I have been to the women all seem to have the same hair. I want something a little old fashioned like the low chignons I found pictures of or very Greek like the first picture I showed. I will post pictures after the test run so you guys can see! Also he is the link to the rest of my wedding "stuff". You can see pics of my dress and flowers and prettymuch everything I am using in the wedding.
Bippy, that's a classy wedding if I ever saw one. I think the under stated elegance of your hairdo will go very well with that dress. Congatulations,it's going to be a beautiful wedding. All the best to you and your new husband.
Bippy- First off Congratulations!! Hope you have an awesome wedding and it's everything you dreamed of!! :)
My vote is on the second and/or the last ones!! I'm not much on the messy prom look. I prefer the lower style and the softer curls around the face. It's just more femine looking to me. But, it's your hair and you're day so you chose which one you like best!!!
My companion, my therapist, my alarm clock, my protector, my rock...you are my best friend, and I love you. My dog.
Lol Monkey my soon to be hubby would kill me if I tried anything like that 2nd picture! thanks for all the compliments guys. If this wedding is anything like I am hoping it will be it is going to be such a blast! I am doing the hair test run this Saturday so I will post pics soon!
