Hi, I am looking for some information about the hybrid "Muggin". It is a pug/min pin mix. I have also heard it to be called a Carlin Pinscher but I read somewhere that they are now referred to as two different breeds. Any information would be very appreciated. I was also wondering if anyone knows of a Muggin breeder possibly in the tri-state area! Thank you!
- no breeder who has these dogs for sale is worth buying from since they'd be considered a backyard breeder/puppy miller and is only breeding for the money (and probably doesn't care [much] for the dogs)
- look on petfinder.com for this mix, there are probably plenty in the tri-state area
if you're seriously interested in this mix, and there is nothing wrong with loving mixes/mutts, I strongly suggest following the last two suggestions. You'll get what you want AND you'll be rescuing a homeless pup (yes, you'll find puppies!)
another suggestion...this forum can sometimes have people who believe that "thou shall not want a mix-breed dog" should have been a commandment from God...if you allow their comments to roll off your back and stick around, you'll learn a lot here....good luck

I love all dogs- mixed or purebred. I have to agree with the above post. Please consider adopting a mixed breed rather than buying a "hybrid". You can get the same mix of dog, save a lot of money and most importantly saving a life.
If you go to petfinder.com you will probably need to look under each breed specifically to find the "hybrid" your looking for. They do searches based on location.
If you are not familiar with petfinder.com it is a very large database of shelters and rescues posting available pets for adoption.
LOL Pope...you need to share where you get your pictures from...sometimes they're just too appropriate!
I'm okay with you not agreeing with my theories, and perhaps it wasn't specific enough, but I really don't feel like revising...let agree to disagree - great links btw...I truly wish I had found this site before I went searching for a pup.
