LOL if you were in Texas I could help you. Please go to shows and ask otherwise you may be fererred to a vet who doesn't really know how to do this right and the results can be disaterous. Also it shouldn[t cost more than 500.00 there's alot of vet overcharging...mine charges 325 and she is an expert with 90% of her practice being ear crops.Wouldn't hurt to call breeders from the internet like the Eurodobe guy, he may know of a vet....

The suggestions you got were what is would have said: the breeder you bought from, or studded to, internet other Dobe/show breeders in that state. (if they dont show, dont bother with cropping questions) a bad crop can ruin a great show dog fast!
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
