Just wondering if anyone has experience with this food. Give me all the details...how much do you feed, do they like it, is their skin/coat better, ect. It would be Two Pit Bulls and two Spaniel mixes on it. :) Thanks!!
I tried it, but it wasn't better than any other premium food I've tried lately. My dogs liked it, but it was getting expensive. I've switched to Kirkland and I'll go back and forth between the chicken and the lamb.
It's a lot easier on my pocketbook and they like it just as well as the Authority Harvest Baked, Chicken Soup, Blue Buffalo, Great Harvest, etc. etc.
Authority is the house brand of PetSmart. I've never seen it anywhere else. I believe the Harvest Baked was $27 for a 37 pound bag.
Kirkland is the house brand of Costco. They use that name for everything from dog food to shampoo. Kirkland's premium chicken and rice is a bit over $18 for a 40 pound bag, the lamb and rice is a buck more as is the senior formula.
These prices are for St. Louis, Missouri.
I looked at the sticky at the head of the dog discussion group that lists the scores for various dog foods. Kirkland had a high score.
