Not that I have much spare time anymore, but I have been known to make a quilt or two. I have a lifetime supply of two inch pins with plastic round knobs on them. These are known as quilter's pins--or is that Poodle Pins?
My Tommy (rip) used to steal the pincushions out of my sewing room and methodically pull each pin out of the pincushion and spread them in neat semi-circle until all the pins had been removed. Then he would wander away, leaving me to discover the mess later. Strangely enough, he never bothers straight pins--only quilting pins.
Now Paulo has discovered the same pastime. He "found" a pincushion I was using while mending some pants. He divested it of pins.
I put it away in a drawer and he then helped himself to my sewing room and discovered yet another pincushion.
So I put THAT cushion away. I closed the sewing room door.
Now the door is open and a completely strange pincushion is sitting in the computer room amid a mysterious circle of pins.
Might there be some relation between pin cushion circles and crop circles?
