My yorkie's hair is growing out and i just noticed under his long eyebrows that he has a big pile up of eye gook stuff in the corner of his eyes. It is thick and its hard to get off. Do you have any advice for getting it off of him?
since it's difficult to get off, maybe you should try one of those dog eye cleaners at the pet store, and wipe up the excess. keeping the hair around the eye area trimmed would probably be a great help because the eye gook is probably building up on the hair and starting to mat it making it thicker if it's a good amount of buildup, but if you keep the hair long, after ridding of the thick gook, you can flush it out with a dropper of water and wipe it up with a soft cloth everyday. if it's a strange colored gook, I'd take him to the vet.

It is normal eye goo. It has piled up a bit. I just dont know how to get it off of him. Its really gross and he dont like me messing with it. But it needs to be cleaned. I guess I can try to use scissors. I just hope I dont hurt him.
