So I was looking online (won't say the website but Betty White does the commercials) to get the pups their heartworm stuff and I noticed that the iverhart runs around 10 cheaper than heartguard and interceptor. Does anyone here use it or heard anything good or bad about it?
I switched it the Iverhart this past Summer but it was just because I switched vets and that is the product that this vet recommends. I switched to this vet because he's awesome so I believe in whatever he recommends. We used to use Interceptor because that's what the old vet had. Iverhart does work for roundworm and hookworm as well. Max is really good about taking them but he's been good with whatever brand we've had. I can never tell if it's really cheaper than just getting it at the vet because by the time I need it again, a year has passed and I don't know what the vet is charging now. The 1-800 commercial talks about saving a trip to the vet but if I'm going there anyway for his yearly exam it's just as easy to get it while I'm there. Plus the office on my way home from work so it's never an extra trip. Do you think it's a cost savings to get it that way? I do buy things from them, but not the heartworm stuff.
