We bought this new puppy recently, his name is Toby, and he's a PomeranianMaltese mix, AKA a Maltypoo. Our other two dogs, Charlie and Dee, are very jealous. Charlie was bought first, from a vet who was going to put him in a shelter. We knew the nurse at the vets office and that is how we met him. He's a precious Labrador, almost pure white. Right now, his toe is broken, but pretty much healed, and his foot's infected from him chewing on it. His cone comes apart. Dee, however, is healthy, other than some arthritis. Well, we think he has arthritis. He's ten or so. He's dealing wonderfully with Toby, teaching him how to behave and everything. They play together, like father and son. Well, Charlie freaks out about that, and barks up a storm. I think it's because Dee was his big brother first and of course now Toby (I call him Tobers, ROFL) gets all the attention.
Anyway, I thought you should have some backstory before I asked you my questions. Do you know of some things we can do to make Charlie feel loved? Some special things? And also, Toby refuses to sleep in his kennel at night, but he's not potty trained. My brother, who feels like it's his dog, but says it's the family's, refuses to let him out. I had to sneek him into my mom's room, where he used to sleep, last night. Do you know how to deal with that? Also, Toby's been spitting up. Do you know what may be wrong? We think it may be like a human baby, where he spits up when he has gas, but we don't know.
