My cat's eyes are always watery. I've seen a vet about it and she said it could be allergies, primarily caused by food. However, I have changed her food and still her eyes are watery. Any suggestions or personal experiences?
My cats are persians so watery eyes are just a fact of life for them. We have an eye wiping session every morning and they are used to that. In their case, it's the way the tear ducts are. Their eyes seem to be less leaky after they turn a year old though. You mentioned allergies and that you changed your kitty's food. But what did you change it to? Maybe whatever she is allergic to is still in the new food?
