You might find something that is better. I looked at the ingredients and it has corn gluten in it. It is rated a 2 star food on www.dogfoodanalysis.com I think I would be looking for a good food from Innova.Prairie, Chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul, even Wellness but I have heard some negative comments lately.
I have a 7 month old Shih Tzu puppy. He's on Natural Balance Small Bites Grain Free Potato and Duck food. Some people don't agree, but I don't waste my time on puppy food. Its just not necessary. I do mix Wild Arctic Salmon Oil, yogurt or cottage cheese, and sometimes a raw egg, with his food. I also give digestive enzymes and occasional raw meat or "medallions". It works well for us and both my guys are healthy, Oliver has great skin and coat. If nothing else, I say add Salmon Oil. They get that every day, and have never seen a flea (and I don't use any flea preventative). My groomer says Salmon Oil does that.
Even if you are on the right track, you will still get run over if you just sit there. (Will Rogers)
Some people are of the opinion that puppy food is not necessary, and a waste of time. Others, who have researched dog nutrition in depth, and owned and bred dogs for many years have a different opinion. If you have a dog with bad allergies, it would be a good idea to try an allergy formula, otherwise there are other foods that offer many more choices and ingredients, and a much better protein content for a puppy. I personally, as a breeder, would never feed a food with 21% protein content to a puppy.

My foods of choice at the moment are Eagle Pack Holistic, Innova Evo, and the current one I've found made in Canada for once, called Orijen.I switch them up, every 2 or 3 of months or so. This may not be available to you if you are in the U.S, but I know the other two certainly are, and are very fine 6 star rated foods. Good luck picking one, it can be mind boggling with all the choices. Just make sure grain content is low or non existant. Never feed anything containing ethoxyquin, or animal digest. The first ingredients should always be meat, never grain.
