If you given the choice to have a boy or a girl which would you choose? Or you already have kids, what is your opinion on raiseing both sexes? Is one easier to rasie then the other, do you think its about the childs temperment more then sex?
When I look up into the sky, I think to myself, Wheres the ceiling?
I had 4 boys and 2 girls. I found the boys a little harder to potty train, than the girls. I found the teenage years with the girls fairly difficult. I think it was more pronounced because they were not into sports as much as the boys. I can only remember 4 major blow-ups, and all 4 were with the girls. That being said, I also know a lot depends on the personality of the mother, and the personalities of the children. I was a fairly strict mother, and would not put up with a lot of defiance. I think if I was more laid back, and less insistant on some things, like knowing where they were at all times, and refusing to just hand over the car keys for them to drive around town, things probably would have been a bit more peaceful. That being said, I would never send them back, and they are all precious gifts to me.
I have a boy, my sister and my boyfriend both have girls. Both sexes pose very different, but equal challenges. I would say it is a tie, but I tend to lean toward that, in the long run, boys are easier and here is why: If you have a boy, you only have to worry about one p***s. If you have a girl, you have to worry about ALL of them.
I'm not sure why, but when my brother started dating, my parents seemed to have a sense of pride, where as when my sister and I started dating there was more of a sense of panic.
I like most cats better than I like most people. I'll try to be nicer if you try to be smarter.
