Ok, so my husband and i recently seperated and i was temporarily staying with my sister and her husband. her husband didnt allow any pets so my 2 chihuahuas stayed with my other sister at her house. she let them stay outside in a fenced yard with her min pins during warm days/nights and kept them in the house in a "dog" room that all the dogs had to themselves. well her dogs arent housetrained very well at all and now my dogs are basically needing housetraining 101 all over again because now that i got my new house they are here with me and go anywhere they please when they have to go to the bathroom. i do crate them at night and let them out to go potty as soon as they come out of their ctate but in the middle of the day they will sneak off somewhere and just tinkle or poo anywhere they can. i need help with the best way to retrain a 3 and 5 yr old male and female chihuahua! they were hard to train the 1st time around and this time is harder!!
