OK i let a friend breed her female pit to my male pit! she is now 63 days along and 3 days ago had a green discharge that was followed by a clear discharge! is she in labor? this will be this dogs first litter and im worried shes having problems! i think she needs to go to the vet! if i would have known i would be the one worrying about this never would have bred the dog!

Green discharge 3 days ago with out delivery is NOT good. This indicates a Placental Separation. More that likely there are dead puppies in your dog and if you do not seek medical attention very soon, you will also have a dead dog.

I don't mean to scare you but this is very serious! She needs a Cesarean Section to remove the puppies. I would not be surprised to discover that she already has an infection and elevated temperature.

I am going to guess by now all the puppies are dead and you will need a c-section to get them out. This is why people bitch so much when people just decide to breed becuase it will be cool. So much research needs to be prior to breeding. I hope your bitch will not suffer the same fate as her pups. She really needs a vet NOW, even and emergancy one.

I hope by now someone has taken her to the vet; like she needed to go 3 days ago.
