My daughter rescued an older Boston Terrier/small dog mix?. His front legs are bowed and the "knees" turn at such an odd angle that his feet almost look like they are on backwards. He looks like he is wearing clown shoes turned out at right angles. Our vet doesn't have a clue about his legs. The backs of his feet touch when he is standing still. Does anyone know what could have caused this?
Sorry I really don't know what could have caused it. Sounds like he is cow hocked in the rear and I *think* that is genetic. As far as being bowlegged, that may also be genetic. I am really only guessing here though sorry.
