I have a four year old female fila. She came in heat around the 12th of april and was with my male constantly! She hasn"t gained any wieght but last week started slightly producing milk. This will be my very first litter. How do I tell when she will have the pups or if she is really pregnant without paying for an outragous vet?
I have to agree, sounds like a false pregnancy. x-rays are always helpful, and I get one every time I breed. Did you actually see a mating(tie)? Did you allow male and female to be together constantly? If so he could of run out of viable sperm before she was ready. You should breed only a couple times when she is ready. I prefer to breed, skip a day and then breed again.
