Anatolian Shepherds

I am considering a new watch dog to replace my ageing german shepard. In researching this breed I am wondering if once trained the dog can be left at home alone outside without fear that it will run off. I've also read that they dig alot. Can they be broken from this? I am looking to corespond with anyone who can tell me about this breed.

Anatolians need a secured area or they will roam.Excellent watch dog though sometims too good. Lol Ours has the biggest bark I have ever heard.He does not miss a single noise or arrival of someone without sounding off.

if you live in north tx I have one that you can have. she is 3 up to date on shots and spayed. she is an exellent dog. the problem we have is that we have no livestock for her to guard and she gets board and goes to the highway that is close to our house. she has almost been hit 4 times and we just want to find her a working home where she will be safe.
