Did anyone get a chance to go for a walk/hike today? Please share.. The hubby and I, took the pups for a great hike....there is a closed down state park where you can walk down about a mile to a small pond. It was beautifull.....The girls enjoyed it, there now sleeping like rock's. The leaves on the trees are starting to turn that brilliant orange and red. How great it is to see such beauty? I am truely blessed'
We are having beautiful weather. I opened the windows for the first time in forever! A sight wind and rain, oooooooh, it's pretty. We live in a cul-da-sac, and when you drive into it, we are the first house you see. So you can imagine how beautiful our house looks & other houses look covered in snow :) It's like a postcard pciture. We are supposed to get a fudge of a winter this year, too! ---Allie the Chihuahua http://www.dogster.com/?41063 ---Mönica the Kitty http://www.catster.com/?57596
It has been raining and very dreary here today. We went to early morning services then came home and everyone has been moping all day. The kids are on a 4 day weekend Yay! for them Yuck! for me! It throws everything off balance. We did have a beautiful day yesterday we spent part of the day clearing pastures it was so breezy and nice out. The trees are gorgeous and all the colorful mums are just so cheery! Fall is my favorite time of year.

Harley: I wanted to share this with you because you seemed to have felt you were under attack recently. I wanted to give you some encouragement in YOUR thread and tell you don't respond to the drama. Leave the bickering to those who love it and have nothing better to do than go over the same thing over and over again. #1 Please do not think everyone is against you.I am not. #2 Please don't bother getting involved in the petty popularity contests discussions. Simply continue responding to the wonderful topics that stay on the subject (Terrific Pets). The rest of thr drama leave to the individuals that keep crying they want the arguing to stop but are the instigators and provokers. They encourage and like this madness while hiding behind a cloak of "I want it to stop!" tantrums. They want the forum to become a battle zone where lines are drawn of "I like you but I don't like her". Silly. The discussions on dog and pets are terrific! Many of the threads are absolute fun! The rest of this nonsense is really pathetic. I simply refuse to respond to any of it even when my name is mentioned. My name was mentioned by someone three days after I stopped responding in the thread. I was no longer in the discussion but still a scapegoat. #3. Please do not think there is anyone in this forum who understands what you are trying to convey. I do understand. If not you, if not me, next week it will be someone else. That is the nature of these forums the pscyhology of people. People gang up, choose sides and are rarely if ever impartial. One day they like you the next day, they don't. Never can the power of dictatorships and how alliances are formed can be seen any other place than on a online discussion board. It is really amazing and sad. It is amazing how people will go along with what someone is saying just to avoid being a target of malice. It is amazing how individuals band together and commit the same "atrocities" they accuse others of doing. It is why Hitler was successful in his madness. The followers felt better to be on the side of the devil than the devil's target. Some of us are blessed enough to see past this ridiciculous reasoning. Lastly, I won't bother to go into the gender pyschology of cliques: there are so many women on this forum. Women can be viciously cruel and strictly pack oriented. There is an excellent book written by a woman who studied the often cruel relationships of teen girls in high school. I can send you the book title. I think this forum resembles many dynamics of high school.
I took Toby to the Patuxent River Appreciation Day in at Solomons Island. There was food, crafts, artists, beer and a parade. The Calvert Marine Museum was also open for everyone. It was a wonderful day, right on the Chesapeake Bay. Toby loved it. He saw many other doggie friends and had to sniff them all. I had a lady come up to me with a Yorkie/Maltese mix pup. She said she is looking to breed her dog with a pure Yorkie because you know you can get $200.00 bucks for those puppies!!!! I just nodded my head and said "Oh really?" I didn't even want to go there. Poor uneducated people.
Cricket- Her pup was I think 6 or 7 months old. She said it weighed 8 lbs. It was pretty cute, it had the yorkie fur I would say (although yorkies and maltese's fur are pretty similiar aren't they?). It was a carmel/sandy/beige color. She was holding it so I didn't get a real good look at it's body, just it's face. I also saw a pure Yorkie today that was absolutely adorable. His fur was actually a little wavy with a real thickness to it. Not like other Yorkies I have seen. It was a puppy still and boy was it cute. =)
Well it was a beautiful Autumn day here in Iowa amoungst the corn. My sister and husband and 2 kids came down to ride dirt bikes and 4 wheelers around the farm. She took her dog along to play with my dogs & puppies. We gave the dogs hair cuts on the hottub and watched the guys show off and the dogs run and play. It was a lovely day !!! Jubilee
Thank you MLS,...Your's is one of the very few opinions I have a great deal of respect for. Thanks for takeing the time and offering your encouragement' It gets a little sickning when members have to defend their opinion on every thread.
