First, get a crate. After you potty him outside, play with him for about a half hour and put him in the crate until the next potty trip. Keep that up, only give him "free" time when you know his bladder is empty. Feed him on a regular schedule. The less opportunity you give him to make a mistake, the faster he'll get trained. Good luck.
Crate training is the easiest way to housebreak a pup. The crate should be large enough for him to stand up, to turn around, and to lie down. The crate should be the size of a natural den, not a palace.
be consistant. feed at the same times everyday, and take the pup out every hour or so, and after he/she eats, take him out to use the washroom. get some treats, and after the pup goes outside give him one. if he goes inside firmly tell him no!
