From all of the want ads that I have read, it appears that more knowledge it needed for the people that posted them. I have been interested in Alaskan Klee Kai since the first day I heard about them a year ago. I did my research on the internet, found reputable breeders and am in the process of obtaining one. Every breeder that I have found has very stict guidelines regarding these dogs. I had to fill out a questionaire to see if I could own one. The breeders are very dedicated to this breed and are very careful in the placement of their puppies. Look up information, breeders are not hard to find, but they have waiting lists, so don't expect one imediately or that a litter will be bred simply because people want them. They are being bred to improve the breed, not just to produce puppies. Get the information and get in touch with a breeder, the information is there if you look for it.
Alaskan Klee Kias must be a rare breed. I have never seen them at shelters. They are awfully cute. Good luck on getting your new puppy! I don't know anything about obtaining puppies from breeders, I like to rescue. I am glad that they are dedicated and careful, the less irresponsible breeders, the less dogs in shelters. I am so glad to hear that there are such reputable breeders out there. This information has made my day! Improve the breed! Those words are music to my ears! Good luck with your new puppy!
