You were the joy of my life. You were loyal to me, like no pet I've ever had. You slept under my arm every night and kept me warm; always letting me know that you love me. You kept me company every day. You chased the bad squirrels from our yard. You rode in the car with me, always with your head out the window to pick up a new scent. When I was feeling blue, you'd jump in my lap and give me a kiss to cheer me up. I thank God every day for the joy you brought to our lives. I pray to God every day to bring you back. I miss you baby Cricket, we all miss you so much. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you that day. I'd give anything if I could go back in time and change that one day where I wasn't there for you. If there is a place in heaven for dogs, I pray you give our God the love you gave us. For I know he would truly be pleased with you.
