The Greatest Dane
4 WEEKS: Do we have enough room? Will he like his new bed? Should I get him more toys? Or food to keep him fed?
Is our yard big enough? For him to roam? I sure hope he's happy. In his new home.
3 MONTHS: His ears are now cropped. And he sure does look good; But if I could do it again, I don't think I would;
Other than that, He's adjusted well; I just love him so much, I hope he can tell!
6 MONTHS: He wears a wind jacket, And has his own couch; He loves to run laps, Around the whole house;
My beautiful baby, Grows bigger each day; And gosh is he gorgeous! What a GREAT dane!
1 YEAR: I'm so sorry, Gibson, But we have to leave; Uncle Sam is sending us, Somewhere overseas;
I can't bear the thought of keeping you locked, For months in a quarantine cell; So we've found you a home, with a nice farm, Which will really suit you well;
Please forgive me, beautiful, For, my heart is torn in two; You are my first and precious love, And I will forever miss you
