To the Most Beautiful Dalmation...My Baby Sammy
To any current Dalmation pet parents or those who will be fortunate to take one in their home please read this. Dalmations are strikingly beautiful creatures but they need lots of patience and special care. They are highly active dogs and need a lot of running time. They're prone to kidney problems so please give them lots of fresh and mostly distilled water, and lots of outdoor time to relieve themselves. Deafness is another condition that you need to be aware of. Our baby was a unie...he heard only in one ear. Often times, breeders have difficulty selling the deaf ones and may end up giving them to the pound or a dal rescue. Dalmations are often found at the pounds because their owners were impulsive buyers and couldn't handle the breed.
