I called him poodle doodle and he was 14 years old. He was my boxer companion dog. I loved him so much. He was always at my feet. He did have heart trouble but lived with that for 7 or 8 years, remarkable to say the least. Towards the end, Duke became unable to lift his hind quarters up and he was so heavy. He had arthritis so bad that he was in pain constantly, would lay there and cry and cry and pant in pain. I put him to sleep and it just about killed last tuesday. I miss him so, he was my "child." my children are grown and I miss him so much. I had him cremated and will buy him on the path in the woods that he loved to walk. I miss him so so much.
