Cinnamon 8/28/06 God loaned us an angel.
Cinnamon, my lovely long haired Chihuahua,
You left us after only being a mom for 24 hours. Mommy, Daddy, Cujo (your mate) and your 6 babies miss you terribly. We see so much of you in them and it makes us both happy and sad at the same time. You were a wonderful mother for the short time you were able to be one. I hope I have made you proud by helping your babies make it all through their first few weeks of life. I know I didn’t do as good of a job as you would have, but I did the best I could.
Your spirit and love are reflected in the behavior of your baby, Gizmo, which I am going to keep. You were such a sweet beautiful girl through your whole life that everyone was deeply moved by your passing. Because of how sweet you were and how beautiful, both inside and out, your babies were wanted and loved WAY before you even had them. Not bad for a dog that was about to be killed in a shelter when I found you.
I wish I had been able to have you in my life a little longer. I don’t really understand why God would take you now when you had just become a mom. But God had a reason to want you to be home with him. Maybe because you really were an angel sent to watch over me for a brief while during the passing of your other pack mate, Kamikazi. You were my saving grace and the only reason I was able to keep my sanity then. Now on 8/26 you bring 6 more reasons to love you. 6 small reminders of you. Six very small parts of you. Then you left us. So maybe God's loan of an angel was done and you are watching over us from above now. In any case, you are loved and missed by all.
