My Sweet Destiny Was Killed by an OWL.
Destiny (Desi) was running and playing with her brother's and sister's in my back yard, when a Very Big Owl swooped down and grabbed her, the owl picked her up and dropped her on the other side of the fence, I jumped the fence but it was too late, when I picked her up, she bled to death in my arm's, He got her right underneath the rib cage. She was a 10 pound Yorkshire Terrier, She was the biggest of our clan, and I know she was tying to chase the owl away from getting her smaller brother's and sister's. I am tributing this to Desi, and to warn other's. Please do not leave your small pet unattended even if its for a minute, even if it is in the country with a fenced in yard. Owls are being chased away from thier home's, fom people building thier home's, and this makes the Owl's hungry and angry. My Sweet Destiny, She was my Very First Yorkie and I am so Very Proud Of Her, She is My Hero and I miss her so much. she was born 8-7-05 and died 8-9-06.
