Sweet Rusty Dog
My 5-1/2 year old Golden Retriever had to be put down after suffering for 2 years with epilepsy. I tried everything, at the end it was costing me $300/mo in meds. I even took him to NC State Vet school and spent $3000. They did every test imaginable. But he would still go into cluster seizures and his quality of life was very sad. He was so doped up he would run into the walls and not know where he was.. I loved him sooooo much, he was my baby. But we did what we thought was best for Rusty. I miss him so much that I still cry over him. I just hope no one has to ever feel my pain. Sweet little boy, Ma loves you.
