a good bye letter from stoli
We lost two of our three schnauzers in 8 weeks. Gandalf died january 12, 2007 at the age of sixteen and his son Stoli exacly 8 week later on March 9 at age 11 They are survived by Stoli's mother, Savannah
When we got ome from having Stoli put to sleep, his favorite toy was on my bed with this note:
Dear Daddy
Thank you so very much for all the breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Thank you for all the adventures and trips. Thank you also for all the treats and toys, all the playtime but mostly for all your love. It's sad I have to leave but it is not forever. Soon I will be with my father; he is old and needs help sometimes you know. For now its best I keep him company and make sure he is alright. We can play and have fun until its time for all of us to see each other again. Please don’t be too upset with me for leaving. It will upset my mother and she has been such a good mother to me that I want her happy. I could not have wished for a better family or a happier life.
I wish you well and LOVE YOU very much
