sugar
sugar was not just my best buddy she was my life saver. if it wasn't for her i am sure that i wouldn't be here today. me and sugar had always been really close and because of this closeness my parents could always be doing somthing out of site, positive that i would be just as safe with her as with them because if i were outside and the mailman came driving she would get infront of me and gaurd me. one day when i was 3or4 i was outside playing i all of a sudden i heard a very mean sounding growl. at first it didn't bother me. then i see this big black mean looking bull mastiff. then it starts coming to me growling and since i was so young i screamed. next thing i know sugar comes running from the back yard and stands in front of me even tho that dog was easily 3 thimes her size (sugar is a cur dog) . then they start fighting. low and behold she chased that dog out of the yard. i am sure that if she wasn't there that day my parents wouldn't of gotten there in time and that dog would have killed me in an instant. thanks to her i am now 11. sadly someone in the middle of the night put rat posining in her dog bowl and she died from it.
