Sweet Magnolia
Our beloved basset hound Maggie passed away suddenly the day before Thanksgiving 2009. She would have been 10 in April. She had been completely blind for the past 2+ years but you would never have known it, she was such a trouper. She taught us more about living life to the fullest than we would have ever learned on our own. I have been crying every day since she's been gone, and I sleep with her pillow on top of mine so I can breathe in her scent. We are getting another puppy in January but it will take alot of time to get over the loss of Maggie, just as it did to get over the loss of our previous bassets, Reggie and Humphrey. They get inside your heart and steal it away.
