Spot, I miss you and will love you always

Spot is the best thing to ever happen to me. From the moment I held him at that little house in South Gate where he was born; I knew he had chosen me. We were meant to be a team. I brought him home July 13, 2007; just in time to run to Petco and get him some food and a bed. I remember he was scared and cried a little. He curled up in a little ball in a corner of his crate. I kept a vigilant eye on him that night to make sure he would be okay. And so it began...my wonderful journey with my little guy.

He was not only a pet but almost like a human, or at least he thought he was. He was my best friend, my baby and my life's joy. One little look from that little fur-ball and everything was better. I spoiled and loved him to the point where sometimes I was teased for it but I do not regret any of it.

Spot was such a lovable doggy - anyone that met him loved him. He was spunky, always happy, friendly, ornery, hyper and always willing to meet knew friends. He loved to play and rough house but he also loved to cuddle right next to mommy and nap. And he loved being outside! His favorite things were walks, a day at the park or beach - as long as he didn't have to go in the water. He loved car trips and sticking his head out the window and oh did he love his chicken treats. His favorite past time was going on a quest through the house hiding his empty water bottle. Sometimes I would find it in my pillows!

He gave his love and affection unconditionally. He will always be my little papa. May he rest in peace in his doggy heaven.

I will always love you Spot.
