Good Bye Payton. We're gonna miss you old guy.
Payton was my son and daughter-in-law's dog, that we got for our son for his birthday in 1999. He was a Jack Russell Terrier and such a good boy. He'd been getting out of the yard lately, no matter what they did to keep him and this morning got out again and got hit by a car. I've read tributes on here and have been kind of judgemental when people say that their dogs got out and got hit by a car. I now know that with some dogs, no matter what you do, they are just going to get out. I feel badly for Casey and Kristen and all the other owners out there that have lost their dogs this way. Payton had a good life and was with us just about as much as he was with his mom and dad. We loved him and called ourselves grandma and grandpa to him. We're going to miss you Payter. RIP old buddy, until we meet again. Missy and Tigger are there at the Rainbow Bridge for you to pal around with and we'll see you there one day. We love you Payton and we'll miss you everyday and never forget you....Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Dad, Olivia, Cali and Smokey.
