The
below is from a Scammer! Some of the emails
may not look like scams, but they all lead to the same
thing. The scammer will pay by check (cashier's check/money
order) for more then the pet is worth, then they will
ask you to send them back the difference in money. A
couple weeks later you find out the check was fake and
the bank will take it out of your account. This scam
can be set up several ways.
Some
key points for pointing out a scammer:
1. Doesn't care much about the pet, just the transaction.
2. Says they will use their own shipper.
3. 95% of the scammers are from overseas (Nigeria, Israel, South Africa)
4. Pays you more then the pet is worth, then asks for the difference in money back. |

Hello, My name is Jenifer from Iowa,i am an old woman who live alone in my house.I saw you your ad requesting to sell a dog.I am interested in buying it because i need a pet who could be my partner in the house.I like to know more about the dog and if it is still available for sale and the final asking price you're selling it.I would like to get a response from you soon. I also like you to know that my son in England would be paying on my behalf and he would be making payment for the dog with a certified check,he would have come to meet with you and buy it in cash if he was in the State. So certified check is the only means he could pay through.if you would accept our mode of payment,i like to know that too. I would be expecting a reply from you. Jenifer. |
