It's a shame PETA is so extreme, making their name tarnished and unliked. They have a lot to offer to educate the public on inhuman issues.
Mafia posted a video from PETA. I would have never imagined such inhuman conditions that puppy mills could be, it's devistating to look at. I just never thought of a mill that big and out of control and horiible.
I would have NEVER thought to look at anything PETA puts out, just because of the reputation they've tagged themselves with. Wow, if only they could make their name reputable again, people would pay more attention to the articles and messages they put out.

Yeah.. I don't listen to anything PETA says. I wait until another organization like the SPCA gives their facts. PETA has too many incidents of lying and being hypocrits (dumping dead dogs in dumpsters)
PeTA does have informative videos though. I guess I am just curious as to what they may have to say next. I watched the circus videos where elephants are beat with bull hooks in order to get them to do what the trainer wants, and the fur videos that is some of the most shocking stuff I've ever seen. animals being skinned alive or anally electrocuted not once multiple times. They do not have a problem with KFC. They have a problem with KFC workers stomping the LIVE chickens and throwing them around. Yea I guess PeTA does have a shock factor and they have gotten a bad name from stuff that has happened but that is just about anywhere or anything can cause a controversy. Which believe it or not actually helps the hype of PeTA when people make a big deal about what they are doing. People who never heard of them then go to check out what all the noise is about. At least they seem to care for the animals. And they try to get the truth out there no matter how shocking they may choose to do so. Maybe people would learn more if they got over the name "PeTA" and saw what they have to say from time to time.

I can not stand peta. I read one of their magazines once that actually said "if you see a dog outside let it loose". If it was in a pen, fence,or chain. It made me physically ill to think they want people to do that. I heard on the dobe board,I think, that they came and let a bunch of dogs loose at a show and a couple got hit. Some of their videos are crap too. And I am sick of hearing about the kfc chickens. It sucks but were do you think your eggs come from? They are in the same situation unless you get them from your own back yard. Chickens are like fish. No one complains about all the fish stuck in a net together. Although I did hear of peta supporting letting lobsters loose. Some people just take it a bit far. They also complain about castrating pigs! I just think if these people don't live on a farm then they have no clue how things work adn they should not have a say in it. Its so stupid!
It's a shame, most of all because they do effectively address some issues that the less insane organizations have yet to seriously tackle, such as circuses, roadside menageries, sport hunting, and any other activities that make a cruel mockery out of animals.
As I said earlier, PETA members seem to be in denial of the basic fact that eating other animals is an integral aspect of the ecosystem, and humans are naturally a part of it. It is often ugly, but there's just no way around it.*
*I do tend to limit my consumption to fish and free-range poultry & bison, though. For a number of reasons, nothing would make me happier than to see big meat industry collapse, or at least improve their practices. Refer to Fast Food Nation for a few examples.
