Hey everyone Im interested in purchasing this English Bully, does she look like a purebreed? She is 6 months old and is CKC registered. I have seen the mother and father and they are both def. purebreed...She just doesnt look it to me??? Maybe because she doesnt have that many wrinkles??
She looks like she has boxer in her to me and usually the ckc registered bulldogs look a bunch like they have boxer in them because they usually do. I know I seen a ckc english bulldog and its mom was actually part boxer and part english bulldog and its dad was a akc pure english bulldog. But I think she has boxer in her because her head is really small looking and she looks leggy. If you want an english bulldog then get a akc registered english bulldog not a ckc registered since ckc usually lets you register about anything and they are usually mixed with something. But get a akc registered one if you want a purebred.

She looks like an Olde English Bulldogge to me, which many confuse with the English Bulldog. Are you sure the people who have her and her parents did not say Olde English Bulldogge? CKC is one of the main registries for the breed. I would speak with them about and find out for sure... personally, I think the Olde English Bulldogge is a better route to go... they tend to be much healthier, breath cleaner, etc.... since this is just a pup, she will definitely "bully" up with age, she just won't be near the extreme as an AKC English Bully.
The lady told me that her mother was CKC and the father was AKC, so she could only register her with CKC..I'll include pictures of the mother and father below... The first one is of her and her mother and the second one is of her mother and father....
Well, mom and dad definitely look to be English Bullies to me, although dad does appear to have a more Olde head to him (less extreme, less wrinkle, etc.) The female you are looking at could very well be a "throwback", which means that she has pulled traits from further back in the lines and will most likely not be as extreme as say her mother, should be a bit more athletic and healthy overall. She looks as if she's going to be big... that means she will not fill that big head of hers out until shes a year/ year and a ahlf, etc. I say if you are comfortable with the breeder, the breeders dogs and you are looking for just a pet... go with it.
That is a typical puppymill & BYB poor mix quality puppy! They are most likely broker / petstore rejects that they couldn't sell. Why not go through am English BUlldog rescue in your area? Just google for it. Or try www.petfinders.com for an English Bulldog in your area that could be in a shelter.
The lady whos selling her bred her, herself, so this is one of her own puppies. So therefor this puppy has never even seen a petstore or puppymill. She was the pick of litter that she decided to keep and she just had a baby and decided it was a little to difficult for her so has decided to place her up for adoption. She precious either way.....
A couple of the adults look nice, and same with the pups...The others look like poorly bred Bully's,...could be one some of the litter look more like pure bully . At least one of thos adults look mixed. ?
