I need to find a home for my daughters Bullmastiff. I can not care for him the way he needs to be. I live in Ohio. Anyone who has a warm home, with an empty spot, I'm sure Bruno would fit perfectly. Very fun and loving!!! Amazing and super gentle with children.
pup101… I have to say… it is sad that you could even think of Giving your ** beloved** daughters pet away!.
Unfortunately it is people who take animals into there home and then decide to they don’t want them , or *can’t * keep them > that partly fill our shelters … or we see wondering the side of roads, or end up in places worse .. like in a lab… because of an ad that said “free to a good home we are moving and can not take our dog”
Taking an animal into your home/ family … means a Life long commitment .. just like a child!!
Yes, we had a similar conversation about our pets being "disposable" the other day. Although if you agree he is not being cared for by you the way he needs to be, this does change the conversation a bit!
I'm sure he has already bonded to your family and thinks of you as his "pack" In what way does he need cared for that you cant properly provide, time, space, etc? If you know the problem, first consider a way to fix it firt, I'm sure he would much rather be with you than moved around.
I also live in Ohio, and could assist with placement, etc. But we are unable to give out personal info here, so unsure how anyone could help you on the forum with placement
