mj is a happy healthy 9 month lab pitt bull mix puppy. He weighs about 50 pounds and is short for his age, but the vet says its ok. Im worried about him because he acts normal, plays, eats, sleeps at his normal times, but the past couple days after i leave and then an hour after i come home or before i come home he vomits, its all his food, not liquidy, or foamy, (sorry this is detailed) but looks like he chewed his food up and spits it out, but he vomitted. My husband has recently left for iraq.... could he be going through seperation anxiety or could something else be wrong with him? he recently shredded his bed up, could that be a cause? please give me input
not to bust your bubble but my dog is on heartgard also and had adult worms. I read somewhere on the web that heartgard doesn't kill the adult worms. I went to the vet and he put my dog on drontal plus.

Funny you should be asking this. Otto our Frenchie was throwing up this weekend but was as happy as a clam we were at the vet on Sat and he gave us something to settle him tummy. He is still spitting up alot exp. if he's running around so I called my vet this morning. His responce to me was that sometimes growing puppies have a slight restriction in their abdomin that can cause porblems in digesting food. It's normal and they grow out of it. Still keep an eye on him. I would check with your vet also.
