Sorry about that. I seen advertisements all around the page. This was my first time here.......... and to answer the question why breed blue, it is only disqualified in the show ring. I am not selling or breeding showdogs, but beautifully colored pets. The blues come out of the solid blacks. You never know if you will get blue, black or both. Again, SORRY, did not intend to offend anyone
We understand that you did not intend anything, but you shouldn't breed dogs for pets (if that's what you meant) and if you want a pet, it might be easier to find a German Shepherd mix. I don't see why it has to be blue.
hello kitkat...i breed american line german shepherds...I do breed to the standards written by AKC and gsd clubs of America. I do breed champion sires and Dams in an attempt to maintain breed standard. What your posting about...and forgive me if I'm wrong....you seem pretty proud of doing...is breeding faults and breeding to recessives genes. I am personally not impressed...but thats my opinion...I do sell pets..but...I am not breeding pets...I am intending to breed to better what I have... and to show. And i have had a majority that would do well in the show ring..Specials or all breed...But..yes..all but one in over 3 years has been sold limited registration.
I dont actually think the recessives is a good thing to breed to...Just like white shepherds..although many are beautiful...they are a recessive...and will wash out your pigment in your lines...Please do some research in what your actually doing..I get so many enquiries on pups and my analysis is most people like black and tan, or black or moslty black, to tell you the truth...so blues might be a passing fancy...and not a healthy one to being dabbling in..i really hope you end up learning from some really respected techs and show individuals that you might want to rethink what your focusing on..I seem to learn a new thing or two every day...so...terrific pets has been a terrific experence....i hope you end up thinking the same...my opinion is the part of being a breeder is learning and doing your best for the pups you bring into this world...
