PLEASE allow my apology for posting a dog ad.... I DID NOT KNOW... In my defense however. huronbreeze called me a disreputable breeder...I have loyal family dogs.NOT FOR SALE. My bloodlines are classic working dogs.Look up Shiloh and Flex vom blauen Modeneser. Blue shepherds are loved and desired by many people. I am proud of my dogs. They will herd my horses, guard my family and protect my kids. Working dogs are a part of German Shepherd history that should not be considered inferior to show dogs. There is a difference. I pray the mediator of this site will allow my post to go on. The SLAM of my blues was not deleted.. I would like to tell everyone that I have been very much enjoying the interaction between my own personel shepherd pup 9 weeks with my 5 week yorkie. The yorkie has the heart of a lion. I really would, from now on just share dog stories(I know the heart of a lion because I owned one) I am an animal lover and have a lot of experience and knowledge I can share. PLEASE DON'T DELETE ME>>>joni
You will find that not everyone is happy on here and thinks that things should only happen one way. Hell, you should see some of what I have gone through. I do know what you are going through. Please do share stories and any knowledge of your pets, regardless of what people say. There are people out here who are genuinely interested in hearing about your dogs. I do.
THANK YOU..... I am 47 years old. I have had pets all my life. I have raised orphaned coons, squirrels, cats, pidgeons, mice, possums and a lion. I love animals. I have been a horse trainer, dog trainer, coot trainer and landscaper. I have a legal degree, but animals are my main love. I cannot help that. joni
Kitkat I'm a new member as well and I've had my personal bashings from some prople here already *hehe* Guess some people do think they're superior others. Don't get upset though I did and that is somthing I regret. I gave out to much info on myself because I wanted to defend myself. Don't let it get to you. I'd love to here more about your beautiful dogs.
kit kat..Here is what i posted to you...I stand behind my comment..and by the way...i think i did post in the very nicest way as I could possable...I dont care if you have working or show lines..recessives are recessives for working as well as show.....Prymom..here is my comment in full **************************************** hello kitkat...i breed american line german shepherds...I do breed to the standards written by AKC and gsd clubs of America. I do breed champion sires and Dams in an attempt to maintain breed standard. What your posting about...and forgive me if I'm wrong....you seem pretty proud of doing...is breeding faults and breeding to recessives genes. I am personally not impressed...but thats my opinion...I do sell pets..but...I am not breeding pets...I am intending to breed to better what I have... and to show. And i have had a majority that would do well in the show ring..Specials or all breed...But..yes..all but one in over 3 years has been sold limited registration.
I dont actually think the recessives is a good thing to breed to...Just like white shepherds..although many are beautiful...they are a recessive...and will wash out your pigment in your lines...Please do some research in what your actually doing..I get so many enquiries on pups and my analysis is most people like black and tan, or black or moslty black, to tell you the truth...so blues might be a passing fancy...and not a healthy one to being dabbling in..i really hope you end up learning from some really respected techs and show individuals that you might want to rethink what your focusing on..I seem to learn a new thing or two every day...so...terrific pets has been a terrific experence....i hope you end up thinking the same...my opinion is the part of being a breeder is learning and doing your best for the pups you bring into this world...
All the folks whining about hearing what they think is common practice and others think it is a deplorable act...look back at the begining of the threads here...it will make your head spin...even the puggle threads are so mild now I couldnt get prompted to action if I had dynamite sitting behind me..so..if your so informed and so sure of what your doing and stand behind it..quit whining about it and discuss it like an adult..post proof that breeding recessives is a healthy and responcable thing in any breed..i think youll have a hard time finding any..but go ahead..i have all the time in the world..i can show proof on the statment I posted...Now..balls in your court Kit Kat..put up or shut up..basically...I posted to you nicely and to as nicely as possable tell you it was dangerious..so..your move...

As I said..Working and show isnt the issue..it is breed standard...check it out...get to know it back wards and forwards..what your saying is its ok to breed over size or undersize dogs also..no reguard to breed standards? Or panda shepherds...next we will have a cool shepherd with a curly tail..a half a set of teeth and geech...they are wonderful pets..they run and herd too...you have no concept..
Huron, I think kitkat knows what you said. I don't think she forgot.
That is what the other post was for. The OTHER post was about blue shephards and all that. This post, however, was nice, and it was kind, and she was talking to people just being friendly, talking about coots (what the crap is a coot, by the way???)
No need to turn every single post into a conversation that was already had.
kitkat, I went back a couple of pages and saw your earlier thread. I see where there were differing opinions, but there were no posts that could be taken as a personal insult.
You will find that no matter what your viewpoint is on any given thing, especially something as important to us as ours pets, you will come across others with equally strong oppposing views.
You just have to realize this and accept the fact that on a public forum, you will not always find your point of view the popular one.
I can honestly say, "been there, done that"!
Can't say as how I've seen anything that would indicate you should be banned, so I'm not sure why you're concerned. If it's because you advertised, you've apologized, it's over and done with and all is well unless you were to do it again.
KitKat, first off, I look forward to getting to know you. I understand that you felt, possibly, talked down to by huron, but I can assure you that was not the case. She is genuinely concerned with the health and well being of dogs. Please don't feel as you were disrespected, as that is not what was happening. She was simply advising you to what she has learned, and was only trying to enlighten you or open up some things to look into. I have only learned new things fomr meeting the members on this site, and i'm sure you wil too. So please stick around and let us get to know you :)
This is has been a nasty forum since I've tuned in..is that the norm around here? How embarrassing that you all cant discuss something with out chewing someones head off!Shame ,Shame.New members are going to think your all crazy.
duchess. you seem to make alot of comments about how nasty people are on this forum. if its so bad to you, why keep coming back ? i agree with what pyrmom said earlier. their are differences of opinion. i didnt see where huronbreeze was being nasty either. just voicing her opinion. we all do that, even you.
KitKat... You'll find on here some ego's tend to "rise and shine" before most of us even have our morning mocha. You'll get used to ignoring the negative and soon cherish new friendships! Yes...what are coots?

I try to show compassion to humans as well as animals and I felt sorry for kit kat..... I know how it felt to be a new member and have everyone bash you. I always feel sorry for people when I think they're being bullied. My hubby says I'm a softy. Must be cause I can't "hang" with the "big Dogs".
i missed your original thread ..... i would love to see your dogs ....... i grew up with GSD's ... my parents still have 2 ....... i could care less what color they are as long as they have the heart of what the GSD breed is in them and their rears arent dragging on the ground as they run . that exaggerated rear has added to the destruction of the breed and i think it is sad some people still breed for it while others in the fancy have come to realize the mistake they made and are trying to correct it.
yeah. i am a big softy too. not being able to see who we are talking to, its hard to determine how they mean things at times. several of us have got into "heated" discussions , we apologize and move on. sometimes i have offended people ...not my intentions. this is a great forum with wonderful people. i have learned alot here. things dont always run smoothly, but for the most part, its a great place to be.
