Saber, samoyed, had when I was very little, neighbors left him behind when they moved my paernts took him, until we moved and had to give him away.
Scruffy, corgie terrier cross, got him when I was 5 and he was poisoned when I was about 8, my dad swore we would never have another dog, ya right.
Buddy, mutt, she was a stray that my parents fianlly let me keep after months of sneeking her food and making collars for her, I only had her for a few months then the local pound caught her and killed her.
Copper, Buddy's pup, had him from when I was 12 until he was twelve when he drowned in my parents dug out. He was built like a corgie, but he had a body like a malamut very heavy with no legs to get him out. Still tear up when I think about him.
Ruffian, Shiba Inu, she is almost 11 years now and still lively.
Tonka, Shiba Inu, he is almost 9 and very lively although he is eppileptic(sp?)
Pippin, Chow Chow, she is almost 7 now, she lives with a friend of mine because Ruffian and he wanted to kill each other it was so bad that they would fight through doors. It was better for them both if one went to a new home, my friend chose Pippin.
Cats, well I only had one of my own, Snappers, and white short hair he ran away when he was about a year.
My husband had a cat when we met, just as I had the dogs, his name is Casper he is also 11 years old.
I also had 4 red eared slider turtles that I rescued and re-homed, 2 ferrets the same thing, a 4.5 foot iguana as well a rescue and re-home. Many many fish, gerbles, 2 hampsters, a guinea pig, and 1 ferret that I actually bougt, he was put into a petting zoo, because I didn't have the time for him.
I have had-8 mixed breeds, 5 newfoundlands, 1-Husky/shep mix, 1 beagle, 1 beagle/bassett mix-16 total 2-cats, 4 birds, a lot of fish (too many to count) (Since I have had fish, I always had the bigger set-up 55 gallon aquariums. 1 turtle (My son had to have one and the turtle has grown in leaps and bounds since he got it about 6 yrs. ago) 1 hamster 1 snake
Benji - A mixed breed from when I was bout 3 years old. Benji got out and was hit by car in like 1974.
Bruiser - A doberman pinscher from when we lived in Jeffersonville Indiana. He died of congestive heart failure (which is not uncommon in dobermans) at the age of 5, in 1983.
Sam - A samoyed. When we got him he was 3 years old and had heartworms, and had to be treated. He also was absolutely phobic during thunderstorms. He broke through the windows of our house like 3 or 4 times during storms. The 4th time we never saw him again. We only had him a year, from like 1984 to 85
April - A mixed breed dog that we picked up as a stray. We got her in about 1987. When I moved to college, a few years later she came with me when my mom moved to thailand. I went out of town one weekend and left her with a friend, who let her out to run with his dog and she was hit by a car :P
Ashir - Not really my dog, but the household dog when I was rooming with 2 guys from 1995-1998. A black lab/chow mix, Frankie (one of the guys) still owns Ashir, and we see him about once a month. We also keep him when frankie goes out of town.
Bowen - a German shepherd x border collie mix we adopted from the humane society in 2000. We still have Bowen, who is commonly refered to as "The Fruit Loop"
Ramoth - An Akita we bought in 2004. Ramoth is a great dog but she wasnt' well suited to a multiple dog house hold. She helped me get into showing dogs though, and now lives with my mom in ILlinois as an only dog (and a happy one too!)
Riddick - A black labrador retriever. Just an all around great dog with our daughter and our family. He has one bad habit, and tahts that he snores like a chainsaw.
My memory of the cats is a little sketchy, because all but one cat (Snafu) were outdoor stray cats that we started feeding. I remmeber a black cat named Moocher, and a sand colored tabby named Sand. AN orange tabby named (originally) Morris. And Snafu was a 3 legged siamese/persian looking cat. He had been hit by a car like a week before we found him and had an open fracture in his right rear femur, they ended up having to amputate it because it was gangrenous.

spud brown tabby cat (there were axtually 2 of them the first one ran away when i was 7 and then the second one came about a month after. he had the same markings and a scar in the exact same spot as the original. even my parents thought it was the same one, they only found out about a year latter at the vet and told my sister and i when i was like 16) the second spud was my real love. he spent every night with me and talked to me. he passed away 2 years ago the day after christmas and 2 days after my bday.
mouse black shorthair cat...very overweight. i got her because i passed a test in grade 5. my dad didn't want another one and her original owner wanted to drown her, so he had to say yes, and the test was just an excuse to make me study...haha. she's about 10.
sydney longhaired black cat that we found by the pool that i swim at. she was very young when we found her. she came to live with us and then had 3 kittens we kept 2 of them and gave 1 away.
bear grey longhaired cat. she's one of sydney's kittens and she's 6. she has started becoming my kitty now because she sleeps with me every night.
angel black and white longhair another one of the kittens. he walks like a german shepherd with his backside lower sometimes so i call him my german shepherd, because i have always wanted one but never had one.
