lmao I always share ice cream with the dogs. It seems now that I have to share with four of them I get a lick or two before it's all gone :D I drink after Kaycee too lol, she's got this weird love of tea so every once in a while I tip the bottle and let her get a sip or two. Joe swears up and down I'm going to get worms lol, I gross him out by saying good, sounds like a wight loss program I need! LMAO!!!!
I know they say not to...but I share a lot of my food with my dog. Not much, just a tiny bite. It's really neat...here we have a frozen custard shop that has "doggie days" in the summer. Every last Sunday of the month if you bring your dog...they give them a free bowl of ice cream with the purchase of yours. So...we definately always go for that!! It's so great to see all the dogs!! One of our favorite days of the summer!!
I always put some food in my mouth, like a carrot, broccoli, or meat, (loki, our rottie, loves veggies) and he takes it out. My hubby thought it was weird too, but now we have him doing it also, only he holds it with his teeth, chicken:) Our male pit loves coffee and tea for some reason, wierd dog, we let him have a few slurps out of our cups.
i have no problems letting my dogs eat of my spoon or fork and then using it right after for myself.
my son thinks its absolutely disgusting and if any of the dogs even touch the edge of his plate with their nose he refuses to eat anything on the plate ... even if their nose didnt actually touch any food .
My husband freaked out the one time I let Affen lick a fork before putting it in the dishwasher...I don't remember what was on it.
I try not to share too much people food with her, although she does love rasins and will sit very patiently for one or two when I am eating them.
When I was in high school we had a female english springer spaniel named Sophie who would try and steal the broccoli from everyone's plates if you were not looking. She loved it the best when it was frozen...would beg for it in front of the freezer.
Bananas-w/my Fem GSD 9mo old. I put a long piece in my mouth but leave most of it sticking out & she bites it off. We do this someplace where the husband cant see us, he w/totally gross out & start GAGGING, not to mention probably never kiss me again.......LOL!

I do share food with my dogs ,but not from my mouth or utensils if it goes back into my moth. Like a piece of a hamburger ,when i'm done then i'll break it into 2 pieces give each piece to each dog ,they do lick off my plates ,then get washed. They sleep in my bed and get kissed on the fore head ,but I wont share food that they have bitten off of and I will eat ,or let them lick a untensil then eat off of it. That's too much. Or share my ice cream ,then I eat it .
In our house it's easier to say what the dog can't eat. My girls are allowed any type of people food (except those items poisonous to dogs) within reason. They are not allowed to eat enough to make them sick, but if mom (me) has a piece of cheese cake they can each have a bite. And yes I let them use my fork (or spoon). We've all heard how dogs have cleaner mouths than us humans, Right?!?! Must be nice to produce the right enzymes in your mouth. LOL
i share my food with muffin but she is really picky she only really likes a few things but she will beg for everything. she loves the del monte frozen yogurt popsicles, yogurt, corn on the cob (i think its the butter on it that she likes), any meat, and she really loves spaghetti. the closest she gets to my mouth or my fork or spoon is when i put a piece of spaghetti in my mouth and then let her pull it from my mouth a la lady and the tramp. but i think that the whole her mouth is cleaner then mine is not that true when her mouth stinks like poop.
I share all my food with my dogs. I have to admit that I have let them eat off my fork and then I continue. I do not do it often but it has happened. I am glad my dogs mouths seem super clean. They have no tarter and no smell. If my dogs mouth smelled like poop like the previous post I probably would make sure to not eat after them. LOL
