As we get a replacement pup, we will get one of the colored ones. Not the tri colored one, he is a male....but a brindle and white or a red...(I would like the red)
We will find out which one has the best cert of health (since mom was bred to a white male, its possible they can be unilaterally deaf) so we dont want to make a decision until we know that hearing is ok, amongst other things...
awww, how exciting!
Actually, the first pic on this page, with the collar, is OUR LILO!!! lol...now she is a big knucklehead.
Oy. 8 more weeks of peace and then puppyhood again.....sigh.
congrats mom. i am so excited for you. i know that you must be so excited too. it is a shame the tri is a male, i love the tris. but your girl will be beautiful no doubt. the dam looks like she is a gorgeous dog.
Oh, we COULD get a male if we want one....I am still debating, I dont know if I really want to breed. I did with Lilo, but she got wry mouth, her ears never stood, etc....and to have three of them running around!??!! oy.
I am not sure which sex I will get. The pup is not only a replacment, but we get to keep Lilo.
I am not a fan of tri colors, actually, in bull terriers. My favorite has always been red.
they are all beautiful!!!! and I am glad that you are a concerned "parent" but I have to say I am a sucker for the under"dog"> The love of my life, (aside from my hubby) is my peke and I pretty much stole him from the pet store that we had in town. He was SOOO tiny and sick and had lice and I just had to save him. Now he is about 12 lbs and thinks he is a force to be reckoned with!! :) I love the ones that nobody else wants!!!
Just a question. If you are worried about the puppy being deaf why would you buy it from somebody who is breeding a white male? I know in boxers the white ones tend to be deaf. I know nothing about bull terriers, so again this is just a question.
