I really would like this post removed,i wish we could remove our own posts. it is VERY old and there is the Katz person on here who tried to start fights and such... Terrificpets does not need any more fights going on in the forums. If you're a regular here you know what I mean :D

You know Afghan that's like the pot calling the kettle black. You've been around here for what like a day? And you have succeeded in started an argument on another thread. If you don't like it hit the bricks!
To the OP. Merico is right this mix seems unlikely just because of the lack of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. That could be why there was no answer to your post. If I were you I would leave the past in the past as many forget any prior transgressions unless you insist on bringing them up. If not we'll just put you in the Katz catagory. I guarantee you don't want to be there!
So you own the mother, who is a purebred lab, and yet, you have no idea what dog she mated with? Was there only 1 puppy, which you kept? Have you even seen a Rhodesian Ridgeback wandering around your neighborhood? Do you even know what one looks like? I have seen ridgebacks (at dog shows) but don't personally know anyone who owns one. As was mentioned before, it's not exactly a common breed, and they do have a pretty distinctive feature.
Not saying that all of these dogs ARE Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mixes - but that's what they say they are. And I'm not saying that Rhodesian Ridgebacks aren't rare - but there seem to be anwful lot on Petfinder. I don't know anything about any "previous fights" - but, this thread was about this particular mix... here are some pictures of some other dogs of the same (alleged) mix.
I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Lab mix - golden color, dark nose, white markings on his chest. He's very friendly, a sweetie. Very good tempered dog. I got him from a shelter, poor pooch. Good luck with yours!
I have a Rhodesian/lab...and possibly Shepard Mix. He's mostly black with a little bit of white on his chest. We adopted him from a shelter almost two months ago at age 3 months. He was quite timid, possibly from being bullied by both the owner and his brothers and sisters. I saw hiim with another sibling and he was quite the runt of the litter He's grown quite a bit now and is very playful. I'm hoping to get him enrolled in training soon to curb his jumping (upon people) and obeying commands better.

Aww, how cute, I have my own category..... and I can't let things go! lol
Why the need to throw the insults at me? Are other people just not as much fun to insult as me? I'll admit I feel honored to be such a part of all of your lives to aggravate you daily without even having to say a darn thing but come on, do you not have anything better to do?
To the OP, in dog training we had a RR that was so friendly, her name was Maggie and she LOVED to play and jump. She was a fun dog.
